The Lungora ingredient list, one by one
Six ingredients, what each one is, why it is in our capsule, what the research says, and who should check with a doctor first.
What ingredients are in Lungora?
Lungora contains turmeric root extract standardised to 95% curcuminoids, coenzyme Q10, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom root, L-carnitine and magnesium glycinate at 80 mg per capsule. The first five are in a proprietary blend.
Reading our label
Our Supplement Facts panel lists the serving as one capsule and 30 servings per bottle. Magnesium (as magnesium glycinate) is shown at 80 mg, about 19% of the Daily Value. The remaining five ingredients are listed together as a proprietary blend in order of weight, which means their individual amounts are not printed. We tell you that openly so you can take it into account, and so your pharmacist has the full list when checking your medicines.
Turmeric Root Extract (95% curcuminoids)
Curcuma longa · Antioxidant · Blend amount not listed on the label
Standardised to 95% curcuminoids, the yellow compounds behind most turmeric research. Curcumin is studied for supporting the body's normal inflammatory response and for antioxidant activity, including in airway and lung-tissue models.
Good to know: Can add to the effect of blood thinners; avoid with gallstones or before surgery.
Coenzyme Q10
Ubiquinone · Cellular energy · Blend amount not listed on the label
A compound every cell uses to turn food into energy inside the mitochondria. Levels fall with age and with statin use. CoQ10 is also a fat-soluble antioxidant that protects cell membranes, including the lining of the lungs.
Good to know: May reduce the effect of warfarin; mild stomach upset in some people.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
R/S-lipoic acid · Antioxidant · Blend amount not listed on the label
Sometimes called the universal antioxidant because it works in both water and fat. It helps recycle vitamins C and E and glutathione, the body's own antioxidant that is found in high amounts in the fluid lining the lungs.
Good to know: Can lower blood sugar; people on diabetes medicine should ask first.
Butcher's Broom Root
Ruscus aculeatus · Circulation · Blend amount not listed on the label
A Mediterranean shrub whose root contains ruscogenins, used in Europe for decades to support healthy veins and blood flow. We include it for circulation, because well-oxygenated blood has to reach every tissue.
Good to know: Can raise blood pressure; ask first if you have hypertension or take BP medicine.
L-Carnitine
Amino acid derivative · Stamina · Blend amount not listed on the label
Carries fatty acids into the mitochondria so they can be burned for fuel. It is studied for exercise tolerance and muscle recovery, which is why it belongs in a formula for people who want breath and energy to keep up on walks and stairs.
Good to know: May cause mild stomach upset; ask first if you take thyroid medicine or warfarin.
Magnesium Glycinate
Magnesium bound to glycine · Relaxation · 80 mg per capsule (about 19% of the Daily Value)
A gentle, well-absorbed form of magnesium. Magnesium helps smooth muscle relax, including the muscle that lines the airways, and many adults over 50 get less than they need from food.
Good to know: Take 2 hours apart from some antibiotics and thyroid medicine; ask first with kidney disease.
What is not in Lungora
No caffeine or stimulants, no mullein, no N-acetylcysteine, no ephedra and no laxative herbs. If you are looking specifically for a mullein or NAC product, Lungora is not it, and we would rather you know that before ordering.

Questions people ask
Is magnesium the only dose Lungora lists?
Yes. Magnesium glycinate is listed at 80 mg. The other five ingredients are in a proprietary blend.
Why turmeric at 95%?
Standardised extract gives a consistent level of curcuminoids, the compounds most turmeric research uses.
Is butcher's broom safe?
It is generally well tolerated, but it can raise blood pressure, so people with hypertension should ask a doctor first.
Does Lungora contain gluten or soy?
Please check the allergen statement on your bottle or email us before ordering if you have an allergy.
Why no mullein?
Lungora is built around whole-body support: antioxidants, circulation, energy and relaxation. It is not a herbal lung tea in a capsule.
Before you order, please read this. Lungora is a dietary supplement, not a treatment for any lung disease, and it never replaces an inhaler, oxygen or prescribed medicine. Turmeric and CoQ10 can affect blood thinners such as warfarin, alpha lipoic acid can lower blood sugar, and butcher's broom can raise blood pressure, so ask your doctor or pharmacist first if any of those apply to you. Shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain or a cough lasting more than three weeks needs a medical check.
